What the crap was that.....

Well, I saw one of this years greatest, and down right weirdest movies this weekend. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. It made me laugh, it made me winch, and once, I almost peed myself. I won't give anything away other than to say, its a feel good movie and great for the whole family, just don't take the little kids cause they won't get half the humor in the movie. Its just too dark and for lack of a better term, sick. Lets see what else has happened. I spent all of Friday night pulling a double at my work. The normal dispatcher was out, so I took his shift, and I must say, a 10000 sq ft building gets creepy when the lights go out. And seeing the freacky new video on ebaums world didn't help. Has anyone else seen that? I hate scary movies as it is, and that sorta reminded me of House on Haunted Hill, the newer one. I hated that movie. Why you ask? Because I hate scary movies. I hate to be scared, and that movie just plain disturbed me. This video was right along those lines and very disturbing. Anyway, I guess I need to get back to work. Things to think about...

Weird day! I don't know why, but its weird. From the moment I woke up I knew that today would be odd. So far nothing has really said that, but I just feel weird. On my iGoogle page I subscribe to the Hack-A-Day widget, and love it. Most of the hacks are a little much for my liking. So that is to say, they take a chunk out of you day to make happen, depending on the project. But a few days ago is so simple, its sick. Its a multi-tool, or thats what the creator calls it. Ah yes. The words heard round the walls of my mind as the Lord's voice calls. Don't ever think that God doesn't have a sense of humor, because you would be wrong. Why is it that people seem so hell bent on doing it themselves? Why do we want to rely on our own powers so much? I ask myself this question because I realize that I do it more often then not. And the answer is, because its our nature as humans. Thats part of the fall I guess.
