A day in the life of your average geek....

That was the quote from British Prime Minister Tony Blair today as the bombs rocked the subways there. Its amazing really. The world we live in today. All that has happened, within my own life time. I was there in OKC the day of the Oklahoma City Bombing. I was appart of, just like all Americans, the fall of the Twin Towers, and now we see our friends getting blown up, and for what? Because some idiot someplace thinks that he knows better and that we need to be taught a lesson. Well, if Britain takes the lesson half as well as we did, then all that will be taught is how to be stronger. I don't know about you, but I can promise you, if anyone other than Bush would have taken the office back in 2000, we wouldn't be here as we are today. I know that everyone hasn't agreed with his policies, or that we even went to war, but its the resolve that he has that keeps this country strong. Well, I saw one of this years greatest, and down right weirdest movies this weekend. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. It made me laugh, it made me winch, and once, I almost peed myself. I won't give anything away other than to say, its a feel good movie and great for the whole family, just don't take the little kids cause they won't get half the humor in the movie. Its just too dark and for lack of a better term, sick. Lets see what else has happened. I spent all of Friday night pulling a double at my work. The normal dispatcher was out, so I took his shift, and I must say, a 10000 sq ft building gets creepy when the lights go out. And seeing the freacky new video on ebaums world didn't help. Has anyone else seen that? I hate scary movies as it is, and that sorta reminded me of House on Haunted Hill, the newer one. I hated that movie. Why you ask? Because I hate scary movies. So here we are. An outlet for a mind that never lets out. Interesting. So I can say anything right? Good. I like it that way. I like that whatever comes to mind I can write about and its okay. So I guess we need to get started. Lets delve into the recesses of this thing. I've had a lot of trouble with a song. Not just any song, its a commercial song. Its that new cherry vanilla Dr. Pepper commercial. You know the one where the lady is on a date and once she starts drinking the soda its all "ma napa nump, do do da doo doo, ma napa nump, do doodoo doooo, ma napa nump" you get the idea. Does anyone else besides me remember that? Its from the greatest of my childhood shows, THE MUPPETS. Rolf to be exact. I can't believe I remember that.
