The light at the end....


So here it is. The soon to be outside of my soon to come new puter. Yah!!!!!
And yes, I did just rip that from Newegg. If you don't shop there, you should. Nuff said. I have a few ideas about the inurds that shall be inside, but lets just say I have some schemes on how to get the money for the inurds. You see, I told the wife the other day that our old PC was on its last leg, so she said I could do some upgrades when tax time rolls around. Oh boy was that a dumb thing to tell me. I think I'll get about $350 from her to do with, but I am going to get about another $700 and make this a killer upgrade. Don't ask, I might have to kill you. Anyway. I'll post as I get the stuff, but that will be atleast another 4 months from now, but hey, I got my wish for a new computer. Yah verily! I'm most definently getting an SLI motherboard. Looking at the GIGABYTE GA-K8N Pro-SLI ATX. It has everything that an AMD compatible motherboard could offer. And with that extra $700 that I'll scrounge up, I'm getting an Nvidia 7800GT. No doubts. Then the next year, when these things are bargain priced, I'll get another and SLI it so as to double the pleasure I'll already have. I'm so excited I think I could bust. But, don't tell my wife on the other stuff. Things like that are best not told.

I know what you are thinking, "Won't your wife notice all this new stuff coming in?" and "won't she realize that you are doing just a bit more than you said?" And to you I say, shut up! For one, I will have all the stuff delivered here to work, and assemble it here. She'll never know what all that I actually get. As for the performance, check out Geek Time and you will know that no matter what I put together it will seem a whole lot better than what I got. Anyway. I guess I better get back to work. I hope this day will end. I really hate Wednesday. Anyway again. Later.

Things to think about...

Weird day! I don't know why, but its weird. From the moment I woke up I knew that today would be odd. So far nothing has really said that, but I just feel weird. On my iGoogle page I subscribe to the Hack-A-Day widget, and love it. Most of the hacks are a little much for my liking. So that is to say, they take a chunk out of you day to make happen, depending on the project. But a few days ago is so simple, its sick. Its a multi-tool, or thats what the creator calls it. Ah yes. The words heard round the walls of my mind as the Lord's voice calls. Don't ever think that God doesn't have a sense of humor, because you would be wrong. Why is it that people seem so hell bent on doing it themselves? Why do we want to rely on our own powers so much? I ask myself this question because I realize that I do it more often then not. And the answer is, because its our nature as humans. Thats part of the fall I guess.
