Good times, Good Times.....
Did you happen to see this movie this weekend? I hope for all you geeky sake you did. Because it doth rock! I am a big Narnia fan as it is, and I have never seen a movie stick so closely to the source material. My wife read LOTR and said the movies stayed very true to the books, they just kinda took things into a different sequence at times. Now don't get me wrong, LOTR trilogy is my all time number one so I'm not raggin on it, but having read the Narnian Chronicles through several times, I really appreciated how close to the book they stayed. I mean the dialog was nearly spot on for goodness sakes. But excellent, excellent movie. If they pay that much attention to detail on the next ones that they do, this will be my new number one. And now on to other things. I beat Mario Paper. Loved it. Though the final Bowser battles could have been better, but all in all a great game. Now comes the waiting for Oblivian. Speaking of which, I will be building a that new puter pretty soon now. About a month and a half away now. I am not going to be getting the case that I thought. I probably won't be getting a new case. Just making the old one work. That's okay though. This thing is going to rock when I get done anyway you look at it. I'm thinking AMD Athlon 64 3200+ 939 pin, 1 GB of GeIL Value DDR 400, Rosewill Value 400W PS, Asus A8N-SLI Mobo, and XFX Geforce 7800GT. I know, where is the SATA HD? MIA I'm afraid. I can't afford that yet. But maybe next year, or sooner if the need arises. I am also going to get some round cables and new case fans to help things out. I'm not going to OC this year. Next year or when ever I can afford a new cooler, I'll get one and start OCing. I might be able to get a little out with the stock cooling, but we'll just have to see what my case does with the heat. Where I have it at in my desk, I'll need to probably open up a hole in the back so as to exhaust some of that hot air. Again, we'll see. Well, I think that's all that's on the mind..... No!.... wait, I think there is something else.
Since no one really reads this anyway, I think I can leak it here and all will be well. My company is looking to launch a new internet service. Well, not us exactly, but we are going to be the alpha site for this new company. Its for a new wireless system. I'm not sure the standards or anything of that nature, I think maybe a type of WiMax, but don't quote me. All I know is, this isn't going to cost us anything, and it will be fully deployed on our system. It will accommodate 1.5 Mbps speeds and cost about thirty bucks a month. That is fast and cheap for this area. I haven't gotten to ask any questions yet, but I can bet that the latency will be comparable to DSL. Lord I hope so. I want this, and I want it bad. I'll let you know more as I know more. We're supposed to have this system up and running with in the next two weeks. I hope this doesn't fall through. Well, enough goofing on company time. And until next time, keep your stick on the ice.
